Presumably if they were that desperate to win Novice, they'd have subbed in one of the other rowers from the 2nd boat who didn't have any points?

Caius B in WeHORR was the same as the crew in bumps.

No it wasn't. Only 4 rowers in Caius B were the same as their bumps W2, i.e. 4 rowers and their cox were subs.

Caius B was Caius I. Caius A was Caius II.
