While I admire the cynicism, it genuinely isn't. Don't think he would do that really do you? Good on the guy for getting back in it after injury though. No problem with buckets really just got to make it work (see OUBC 2011).

Seriously excited for Mays in general but the top of M1 should be cracking (or dreadfully dull, either way possible).

I miss Binson's super bucket rig...

I do think buckets are judged to make a much bigger difference than they actually do. At a college rowing level I expect the difference is almost non-existent unless the boat isn't going straight off the start

If Walker really was injured then its interesting to see him picked over a guy who has presumably being rowing all term and would be in much better condition

Maybe walker is just much better than OB? Decision seems to have paid off IMO.
